GreensMan is an e-commerce web application which supports an online store. The store will primarily sell fruits and vegetables and target consumers interested in a healthy lifestyle. The GreensMan application will have many features typical of online stores, including product categories, search, a shopping cart, checkout process, and administrative tools. Custom features like retrieving nutrition information will be built as well. Team Apricot will develop the website’s front end, business logic, data access model, and content. The finished product will be a cross-platform web application that can be deployed to a variety of environments. Deploying to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or an Apache server will all be viable choices once the application is completed.
